Inner Wisdom of Healthy Practices

We want healthy, happy lives. Why is it hard to build them?  The field of neuropsychology has revolutionized our understanding of how stress operates and what we can do about it. Research consistently points to several practices as central to preventing and responding to stress. In this 4-session course, I will explain the reason and benefit of each, weaving wisdom literature into the process. You will complete the course with your own set of practices, tailored to your personality, needs, and lifestyle. We will explore:

  • Exercise

  • Time in Nature

  • Meditation

  • Journaling

  • Gratitude

  • Acts of Kindness

  • Play

  • Laughter

  • Slow, deep breathing

  • Positive social interaction

  • Creative Expression

  • Rest

This offering is best over 4-6 sessions.

Align Your Holidays

Would you like for your holidays to be characterized by less stress and exhaustion, and more joy and meaning?  We will consider our priorities , what it looks like to embrace a vision for the holiday that we will actually enjoy, and how we can stay aligned to that vision when the busyness of the season begins to crowd in. You will leave the workshop with a working plan for the holidays.

This was a hit and I will hold this again next fall!
