Can I book a free consultation?

Yes! I recommend this to everyone. In a free consultation, we will discuss your goals, my services, and what you can expect. It is an excellent way to get a sense of working with me and what coaching will be like. Then you can decide if this will be a good fit for you, no strings attached!

What is Coaching?

Coaching is a partnership between client and coach that helps the client establish and then achieve tangible goals in a particular area of their life.

At its core, coaching is based on the fundamental assumption that we are all inherently resourceful and creative, and therefore capable of making changes to align our choices and habits with who we are and what we want out of life. Coaching honors the client as the expert on her life; the coach facilitates excellent conversations in which the client reaches new insights and then crafts purposeful action plans. Coaching is all about movement: knowledge + action = growth!

What is the difference between coaching and counseling?

Coaching:

  • Starts with the assumption of mental and emotional health

  • The focus is on the present and the future

  • Result is insight and intentional action

Counseling:

  • Starts with an assumption of mental illness and/or trauma

  • The focus is on the past and the present

  • Result is understanding and acceptance

How long are sessions?

Sessions will not exceed one hour in length.

Where will sessions take place?

There are several options. In our consultation, we will discuss what would work best for you.

  • In-person 

  • Phone

  • Zoom

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?

Cancelling or rescheduling sessions needs to be done 24 hours in advance. Cancellations without at least a 24 hour notice will not be refunded.
